It is with great pleasure that we announce the General Council of Native Women of the Algonquin Nation, to be held September 10, 2011 at the Quality Inn Hotel Val D’Or 1111 Rue L’Escale Val D’Or Quebec.
This General Council will shed light on the issues linked to Aboriginal identity and citizenship (at the individual, community and Nation level). Quebec Native Women (QNW) will conduct a Consultation session with the communities on these important issues with Me Marie-Ève Lachapelle Bordeleau QNW justice coordinator and Émilie Grenier, QNW political and legal analyst.
